     Confetti is like snow or rain even ash it is like several things that are associated with falling from the sky. there are comparisons euphemisms like candy pops out of a pinata like confetti or money falls out of the sky like confetti it fell out of the sky like confetti. confetti is paired with parties or joy even pranks. it is easy to make confetti and it can be bought in many places confetti can compare to a burst of color. or with surprise. confetti is not like other party favors there is little control over it. you either release it or you don't but its hard to make confetti land in specific areas. confetti is associated with randomness. confetti can be related to ...
confetti is colored or uncolored paper in tiny shapes.confetti can be many shapes and sizes.
confetti can be large or small. There are several things like confetti. confetti is messy compared to other party favors.confetti is like a firework. confetti can be used to play checkers on a checkerboard like surface. confetti is similar to explosion.

Associate it: what can it be related it or connect it to

     Swimsuits are related to many things. one is clothing and the protection it provides?... swimsuits can be connected to beaches and pools. swimsuits can be connected to fashion with swimsuit models of both genders. swimsuits in certain instances are considered optional. swimsuits can be associated with parties in aquatic conditions. swimsuits are used in water sports. swimsuits are associated to hot and sunny  weather.

The first topic was a silly topic at first glance but with the comparative approach a poetic appearance can be formed while an argumentative approach led to a negative feeling that was against confetti.

I was surprised with the different attitude an argumentative response to a topic could be so different than a description or association. With the swimsuit topic a very strong point against objectification that swimsuits promoted.  In the topic of confetti a point against the mess confetti makes and how difficult it was to clean was made. While it was surprising the argumentative approach proved to be the most interesting when talking about a well-known topic because people have their own opinions and would provide their response.

-If you wanted to compare the subject you can relate it to different things and you can use the relations in a discussion.
